Detox Tea

Cleanse, Restore, and Rejuvenate

Brewing Instructions

  • Boil Water: Heat water to approximately 190°F – 200°F (just below boiling).

  • Measure: Add 1 teaspoon of Detox Tea per cup (8 oz) of water.

  • Steep: Let it steep for 5–7 minutes (the longer it steeps, the stronger the detoxifying effect).

  • Strain: Remove the tea leaves or strain the tea.

  • Enjoy: Sip slowly and feel your body begin to cleanse and restore.

Tips for Best Results

✔  Use filtered water for a cleaner taste and better nutrient extraction.

✔  Cover the tea while it steeps to lock in the essential oils and nutrients.

✔  Sweeten naturally with honey or agave to support the detox process.

✔  Add a squeeze of lemon to boost liver detoxification and enhance flavor.

✔  For a refreshing twist, add a slice of cucumber or mint to your tea.

Alternative Ways to Enjoy

â—†  Iced Tea: Brew the tea as directed, let it cool, and serve over ice with a sprig of mint.

â—†  Cold Brew: Steep in cold water for 6–8 hours in the fridge for a smooth, mellow flavor. 

â—†  Detox Smoothie: Brew a strong batch, chill it, and mix with spinach, cucumber, and ginger for a cleansing smoothie.

â—†  Infused Water: Add brewed tea to sparkling water with a slice of lemon and mint for a refreshing detox drink. 

â—†  Herbal Foot Soak: Use brewed tea as a foot soak to draw out toxins and relax tired feet.

Elderberry

  • Interactions: May interact with diuretics, lithium, and medications for high blood pressure or diabetes. Use cautiously if you have kidney issues or gallbladder concerns.

Milk Thistle

  • Benefits: Milk thistle is rich in silymarin, a group of flavonolignans with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that protect liver cells and aid in liver regeneration. It supports the detoxification of environmental toxins, alcohol, and medications.

  • Terpenes: Contains beta-caryophyllene (anti-inflammatory) and apigenin-like compounds (antioxidant, liver-protective).

  • Interactions: May alter how the liver processes certain drugs. Talk to your healthcare provider if you're taking medications like statins, antidepressants, antipsychotics, or chemotherapy drugs.
